This is a real south east London gem- an old street market selling all sorts of bits and bobs, meat and fish and vegetables, loud and fun and very London!

One of Londons oldest markets, it sells everything. Fresh fruit and veg, shoes, clothes, birthday cards, quite a bit of tat... it's got the lot. It's the opposite of hipster! A real market in real London. Still some very old school traders working here. Charlie Chaplin was also born nearby. Closed Mondays.
