If you're a fan of literary puns and booze, Tequila Mockingbird is the bar for you. This super cool three-floored cocktail spot in Putney is buzzing every single night of the week thanks to the incredible happy hour deals here - tuck into 2-4-1 cocktails or £3 beers from 5pm 'til 9pm every day! Head down, knock a a few cheap drinks back and dance the night away.

Tequila Mockingbird do all the classics, with lots of their own creative concoctions. With happy hour on from 5-9 pm DAILY (yes!) it would be rude to not pop in and try something a little different. We started with the bartenders own creation Almond Stag (£8.50) with jager, amaretto, passion fruit puree and a drizzle of Shiraz. It was a little sweeter than we thought but the warmth of amaretto balanced it nicely and it was great to try and unusual ingredient combo!
