National Park named for one of our Great Presidents that lived and camped there while hunting. Roosevelt’s cabin is there for you too see as well as many wild animals… Bison, Wild Horses, Prairie Dogs, Elk and eve Bald Eagles looking for a meal hovering g over the Prairie dog town. Great for hiking and sightseeing.

The Badlands are gorgeous! Wild horses, great hiking, Maah Daah trail and bison. It’s never disappointing.

This is my very favorite place in ND! I go every year, it’s only 1 1/2 hour from Mandan to get to the south unit. And besides all the beautiful park, you get to visit the town of Medora, a very historic place!
