Full of history, the National Infantry Museum is a must see item for those coming to Columbus. Fort Benning, the Home of the Infantry, is one of the largest Army bases in the world. See the vehicles, uniforms, weapons, and other items used to defend our great nation! There also are some fun simulators!

The Vietnam War Jungle simulation is incredibly real. This place is over the top and will not be a waste of your time.

The National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center, in Columbus near the gates to Fort Benning, is a world-class museum honoring Soldiers past, present and future. It is the only museum in the country dedicated to the American Infantryman and preserves one of the greatest collections of military artifacts. The museum traces Infantry history from colonial times to the present in a series of galleries. The museum’s campus features major memorials to the Vietnam War and the Global War on Terrorism, as well as a Memorial Walk of Honor.
