We recommend visiting this cellar of Porto Wine for those who would like to get a deeper knowledge of Port wine, but not for groups of friends looking for a quicker visit. The Taylor's basement has been organized to have 11 stops with detailed information that the visitor can discover at their own pace and according to their interest. It is passed not only by the basement, but also by a museum dedicated to Taylor's cooperage. At the end of the visit, a tasting of two emblematic wines for Taylor's: Chip Dry Port, introduced in 1934, and a 2011 LBV (which is considered one of the best years of the Douro Vinhateiro), in the garden.
