Head chef is an Asheville native who worked up the ranks at Curate and McCrady's in Charleston before helping open Xiao Bao, also in Charleston. Ghan Shan is his second asian restaurant adventure and spectacular. I highly recommend an early arrival on whole fish night.

This restaurant has amazing food as well as atmosphere. Once a gas station, this building was lovingly restored and has won restoration awards. Walkable from The Cottage.
