Advanced Hike in this area. It pushes your endurance. It is extremely hot in the summer and the slops of the mountains are very challenging. In the spring there is a nice pool of fresh water for swimming

Devil's Punchbowl Nature Area is a park managed by LA County and a popular site for hiking and viewing rock formations related to the San Andreas Fault.
